About Chris
Originally from New York, I am a Cambridge CELTA certified English teacher with over 15 years of experience in teaching, translation, and international communication.
With a BA in English and Russian Literature, with a double major in Creative Writing in English and Translation from Russian, and a MA in International Relations, specializing in International Negotiation and Conflict Resolution, I have extensive teaching experience in Paris, New York, and Moscow, as well as several years of online teaching to students from around the world.
Also a writer, translator, editor, and branding and marketing consultant, I emphasize precision, style, and confidence in language. What I love most is helping my students express their personalities in English—with clarity, authenticity, and fun.

My courses are mainly aimed at adults who wish to progress quickly in English for work, studies, or international communication.
Depending on your needs, sessions can take place online on Zoom, in person in Paris and the surrounding suburbs, or in a hybrid format.
Lessons are conducted entirely in English, to promote natural immersion and accelerate progress in comprehension and expression.
I specialize in preparing students for the IELTS and TOEFL exams, Business English, as well as developing pronunciation, vocabulary and writing skills in English (creative or academic).
Each class is tailored to your individual needs: conversation, grammar, speaking, comprehension, or writing—depending on your goals and pace. My goal: to help you gain confidence, accuracy, and ease in communicating naturally and authentically.
The first lesson is free and held online—it’s an opportunity to get to know each other, discuss your goals, and design a learning plan tailored to your needs.
