About Lizzi
BA degree in Modern Languages (Taiwan), BA(Hons) degree in Jewellery (UK). I grew up in Taiwan and pursue my passion in craft in the UK at the age of 23. During my first degree in Taiwan, I was teaching children English in deprived areas as well as in the city. With my background in teaching and the creative arts, I like to approach learning in a more creative way that suits your needs.

By learning what you wish to accomplish with learning Mandarin, I can help you improve and strengthen your conversation skill, speaking, pronouncing, reading, writing, or even culture! If you are interested in learning zhuyin, you've come to the right place! Zhuyin is a system of phonetic symbols that represent all sounds in Mandarin and is developed and use only in Taiwan. The great benefit of learning Zhuyin is pronunciation. Although pinyin (a romanisation system) is the most commonly used when it comes to Mandarin learning, the pronunciation is not the most accurate and in Mandarin (and all languages), pronunciation is the most important and a little difference can greatly change the context.
I am experienced in teaching children from 9-12 but are comfortable working with students of all ages and levels.
