About Yao
Hello! My name is Yao, I am a native Mandarin speaker from China and currently live in Cork, Ireland. I graduated from University College Cork with a Master's degree. I enjoy meeting people from different cultures and helping students learn Chinese with confidence. I am friendly, patient and responsible, and I always create a positive and supportive learning environment for every student.

I have experience teaching Mandarin to international children through an online learning platform in China and have also delivered public presentations. I enjoy creating engaging, patient and personalised lessons that help students build confidence in speaking, pronunciation and everyday communication.
