About Soojin
Hi! I'm a native Korean speaker currently living in Brisbane, Australia. (Don't worry, I'm also fluent in English)
I was born and raised in Korea and lived there until I was 23. I'm currently taking a gap year from university in Seoul, where I am pursuing a minor in Korean Language and Literature. Throughout high school, I consistently ranked in the top tier of Korean language examinations, developing a strong foundation in both written and spoken Korean. In my Korean Language and Literature courses, I have earned A+ grades across all subjects. I also have experience teaching Korean through a language exchange program.
I enjoy reading and am an aspiring writer, which has given me a deep appreciation for the Korean language, communication, and storytelling.

My lessons focus mainly on practical Korean conversation, but we can adjust the balance of speaking, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, or anything else depending on your goals. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to improve your fluency, I'm happy to tailor lessons to your needs.
Every lesson is personalized to your goals, interests, and Korean level. I use my own custom-made materials, as well as fun and authentic resources such as K-drama dialogues, K-pop lyrics, and real-life Korean content to help you learn naturally and stay motivated.
We can practice everyday conversation, travel Korean, business Korean, or any topics you're interested in!
My standard schedule is 2 sessions per week, 2 hours each, but I'm flexible! We can arrange 1–4 lessons per week, and each lesson can be 1.5–3 hours long, depending on your goals and availability.
I'm friendly, patient, and believe learning should be enjoyable and stress-free. Looking forward to helping you on your Korean learning journey! :)
