About Violetta
I am Violetta, from Athens, Greece but have lived in the UK for 6 years now. Ever since my undergrad years in Edinburgh, I've been teaching English and Greek literature (A-Level/ IB). Greek is one of the most beautiful and varied languages in the world and thus I am excited about teaching it in an engaging manner, unravelling both its complexities and nuances.

With many years of experience teaching 1:1 and big groups in Greece and the UK, my lessons are centred around your needs and goals! Together we can tap into Greek grammar in a sustained fashion, but also practise the conversational and daily usage of Modern Greek. For beginners, I can help you confront the Greek alphabet and the main grammatical rules to finally navigate your Greek holiday. For intermediate to advanced students, you can expect to study a wide range of material, from greek pop lyrics to high brow poetry, in order to fall in love with the versatility of the Greek language and achieve your goals. Lessons can vary from 1 to 2,5 hours.
