About Raphaël
Hi there! I’m a French engineer with a passion for languages, travel and human connection. I’ve worked as a youth leader, so I’m used to engaging with children, but I also love teaching curious adults. I grew up in a guesthouse run by my mother who taught French, where we welcomed students from all over the world. I naturally got involved in sharing French language and culture with them, which gave me a real taste for teaching. My lessons are fun, friendly and tailored to your needs—whether you want to improve your speaking, grammar, or just feel more confident in French. Let’s learn together!

My approach is fully student-centered: I adapt each lesson to your goals, learning style, and interests. Whether you’re a beginner or intermediate, I focus on building confidence through conversation, practical vocabulary, and real-life situations. I like to keep things interactive—with games, role-plays, or cultural insights when relevant—especially for younger learners. A typical lesson lasts around 1 hour, but I’m flexible depending on your needs. I’ve gained experience teaching through years of informal tutoring, helping international guests learn French in my family’s guesthouse (run by my mother, a French teacher), and working with children as a camp leader. My lessons are suitable for both kids and adults who want a friendly, structured, and encouraging space to grow in French.
