About Celine
I am a native French speaker. I have been teaching French as a foreign language for over 16 years now. I studied Applied Foreign Languages (English and Chinese) in college in France and graduated with a master's degree in 2006. I taught French in China and Hong Kong in various institutions: Universities, language schools, elementary and middle schools, private lessons and online. When I'm not teaching, I love spending time with my 4-year-old daughter and husband, hiking, cooking and learning Mandarin. Let's learn French together!

I teach all levels and ages. I use a mix of popular textbooks and materials designed by myself. I am familiar with the following exams: DELF, GCSE and IGCSE. I make it a point to empower my students in their learning. I will encourage, support, explain, provide but at the end of the day I want you to feel proud of yourself for what you achieved. Learning languages successfully is all about confidence and motivation.

My teenage son Arthur has been with Celine for a year. His French abilities skyrocketed from beginner’s level to receiving 90s in his tests and exam. Celine is patient and fun in her lessons and she has her own unique way of helping students with grammar and vocabularies as well as oral abilities. She’s a wonderful teacher.
Celine is methodical with her teaching, which is definitely a function of her rich experiences in working with children and adults over many years.
She is also very flexible and I most appreciate her multi-linguistic background (French/English/Chinese) which allows her to tap into the most effective grammar & idioms to help me better understand the use-case of vocabs or phrases.Celine is an amazing teacher with great responsility. She has lots of experience teaching French. Her lessons are well structured with clear objectives. Celine had been teaching my two daughters for a few years. She is very nice approach with children.
