About Marianne

Hey there! I’m Marianne, a thirty-something who’s passionate about traveling, sunsets on the beach, salsa dancing, and enjoying dinners with friends. I’m here to help you practice French in the most relaxed and fun way possible. Currently based in Costa Rica, I’ve really improved my Spanish by chatting with people, putting myself out there, binge-watching series, and translating my favorite reggaeton songs. I totally get that learning a new language can be tough, but with some patience and practice, we’ll make great progress together!

Salut! As a native speaker from Quebec, I can help you boost your comfort with the language, focusing on confidence instead of perfection. With my patient and friendly approach, we'll engage in real conversations that you can incorporate into your daily life, helping you improve quickly. I’ve been helping some of my Hispanic friends practicing their French skills, and since hablo español suficientemente bien, it makes it easier for them to ask questions in their native language.
