About Melanie
Hi! My name is Melanie, and I am originally from the USA, although I have been living in the UK for the past 10 years — so I would say I'm a little more British now haha! I have a degree in Psychology and have always enjoyed learning about people, communication, and different cultures. I also studied in South Korea, where I taught English both in schools and through one-to-one private lessons. This experience helped me work with students from different backgrounds, ages, and language levels while making lessons enjoyable and comfortable. My teaching style is very relaxed, friendly, and supportive. I love having good conversations and creating a calm environment where students feel confident speaking and making mistakes while learning. My goal is to help students improve naturally while keeping lessons engaging, personal, and suited to their individual needs.
