About Dominic
I am a native English speaker and teacher from Norwich, England. I have a degree in Philosophy from the University of East Anglia and a CELTA teaching qualification from Cambridge University. Since becoming a qualified teacher I have taught in numerous different environments. From group lessons to individual classes, from face to face to online as well. Being a student of the Spanish language has also allowed me to grow as a teacher and understand students needs.

I think it's important to remember that everyone learns in different ways. Therefore I truly believe, that I must be adaptable to different ways of teaching. One student might be a strong visual learner, while another might learn better through oral practice best. These factors are of huge importance to determine my teaching style. Flashcards for learning vocabulary, music/ videos to improve listening skills and lots of conversational practice to improve speaking, are techniques I use regularly and that students enjoy. Most importantly, making sure lessons are interactive and motivating are a main focus.
