About Leigh
I am an experienced English tutor and love teaching English. I have a passion for sharing my knowledge of the English language with others. Learning a foreign language, especially English can be a powerful tool and open many doors. I have seen first hand how learning English can improve someone's career, personal life and make traveling more enjoyable.
I have been a foreign language student, so I understand the challenges and frustrations that come along with learning a new language.
My experience as a foreign language student taught me how to be very patient and understanding to a person's learning style and needs.
The focus of each lesson will be on you and your learning needs and any areas that you want to improve on. We will revisit a topic or point as many times as needed to ensure that you full understand everything being taught.

If you have English learning goals (improve your speaking, writing, reading, grammar, etc), we'll focus on those and check in weekly to see how you've progressed and how close we are to your learning goals.
If you want to learn English as a beginner, we will start with perfecting the alphabet, greetings, and basic grammar. Then in each lesson, we will learn, and practice through role-play everyday situations such as meeting someone for the first time, going to the supermarket, at the doctor's office, ordering food at a restaurant, traveling, etc. All the phrases, vocabulary, and verbs for each will be introduced and practiced before we begin practice with role-play.
Lessons will be sent to you for review as well as homework assignments.
