About Cheryl
I hold degrees in English, a Masters in Nonprofit Managment, and a law degree. I am currently creating a series of Youtube videos that I am going to upload so that my students will have tools to aid them with grammar. Grammar is not being taught enough in elementaryand middle schools, and many students are showing up in high school English class without the requisite knowledge needed to be a good writer. I want to try and put an end to some of that. I am a stickler about grammar, punctuation and spelling. Many people do not realize how important it is to have good communication skills.

My lessons are student-centered and are developed based on the needs on the student. I do not use cookie cutter lesson plans, because one plan does not fit everyone, and all students do not learn in the same nammer. My students find it easy to develop a rapport with me because they find out very quickly that I truly believe that all students have the ability to be successful,and I am willing to go the extra mile to help my students acheive their goals. While I primarily teach high school, I have experience teaching grades 2- college.
