About Emanuele
I'm half English, half Sicilian — which means I grew up with two languages, two cultures and a very strong opinion about pineapple on pizza!
I've spent half of my life living and working in London, which has given me a real appreciation for how hard it actually is to learn a language as an adult, especially when life is busy and traditional classes feel dry and uninspiring. It's also made me deeply aware of how lucky I am to have grown up bilingual, and I want to share that with as many people as possible.
Outside of teaching, I'm passionate about sports and fitness, swimming, and I've been a lifelong video game enthusiast. My first love was Lara Croft, which probably explains my obsession with history and literature too!

My lessons are conversation-first and real-world focused: no stiff textbook English, no formal drills that sound nothing like how people actually speak. I teach English the way it actually lives: through natural dialogue, everyday situations, humour, culture and the kind of language that actually comes out of people's mouths.
Every session is tailored to you and what you actually need. A typical lesson is 60 minutes and usually flows between free conversation, a focused skill (pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar that makes sense in context) and a quick recap with something practical to take away.
I'm a native English and Italian bilingual speaker, but I should be upfront: I'm not posh, I'm not BBC, and I don't sound like the Queen. I'm a regular Londoner, half Sicilian, shaped by real city life, and that's exactly what makes my English useful. I'll teach you the English that actually works: in meetings, in cafés, with friends, on the street.
I work with complete beginners all the way through to intermediate learners (A1–B2) who want to speak with real confidence and naturalness.
