I am a native Chinese speaker who graduated with a Linguistic degree from University of Washington. Currently I am a working finance professional at a tech company in the Bay area. As someone who always took an interest in language learning, I am familiar with the theories/practices in language learning, Chinese pop culture, and Business Chinese for work.

I tailor my teaching style based on students' learning goal and interests. In the first lesson I always make sure I capture students' goal and current level of the language to develop a more tailored plan for their needs. During a typical lessons we will be going over key learning points for the day with some culture learning to ensure students can use the language in the right context. I am a big proponent on conversational language learning where student can learn through speaking and getting exposure to how people live in Chinese speaking actually use the language.
