Hello! I am a graduate student at the Australian National University, originally from Mainland China. I am equipped to offer both remote and in-person Chinese language classes in Canberra. My teaching services cater to a wide range of students, from beginners eager to learn Mandarin to advanced learners interested in delving into Chinese literature and culture. I customize my lesson duration to suit individual needs, ranging from 40 to 120 minutes.
My teaching focuses primarily on reading, speaking, writing, as well as Chinese literature and culture, reflecting a comprehensive approach to language learning. During my time at the Australian National University, I engaged deeply with courses such as Linguistics, Teaching Language, Chinese-English Interpretation and Translation, and Reading China. These courses have not only enhanced my teaching methodologies but also broadened my understanding of the cultural nuances crucial for teaching Chinese effectively.
I am highly adaptable regarding lesson schedules. Since I am on my summer vacation from November to February, I am available to work on any day of the week.
