About Grace
Hello! My name is Grace and I am a Nationally Board Certified educator with 12 years experience and a passion for reading and teaching literacy.
In addition to my teaching experience, I am also a lifelong learner myself and am constantly seeking out new ways to improve my own literacy skills and knowledge. I am confident that my passion for reading and teaching, combined with my professional expertise, make me an excellent choice for a literacy tutor. As a literacy tutor, I believe that every student has the potential to succeed and it is my goal to help them unlock their full potential through personalized instruction and support. My teaching approach is centered on meeting each student where they are at and helping them to build the skills and confidence they need to become successful readers and writers. Whether a student is just learning to read or working on more advanced literacy skills, I am here to help them achieve their goals.
I have extensive experience working with students of all ages and abilities and am skilled at adapting my instruction to meet the needs of each individual learner. I believe in the power of positive reinforcement and use a variety of strategies, including praise, rewards, and encouragement, to motivate and engage my students.
