My teaching style blends inspiration with structure. I help writers find their unique voice while learning the craft of storytelling. I use techniques like: Interactive writing prompts, identifying genre-specific goals, critique and feedback cycles, and scaffold development which would concentrate on taking your idea to a polished draft. My typical lesson plan is: Warm-up - (10 min. quick write), to assess your level of writing. Craft Lesson -(20-30 min.), to focus on character arcs, dialogue, world building & etc. Practice Essay & Feedback- (30 to 45 min.), to write a short story & receive feedback. Homework/Next Steps- (5 mins.), assign writing assignment and reading suggestion. As a Bestselling author, penning over 55 books, I have mastered the craft of writing and sold millions of books, so I am able to teach what works in the real world of literature/publishing. With my expertise, I can give you industry feedback and coach you on building an author brand on the business side of writing.
