About Lorna
My name is Lorna and I'm from Ireland, living in Reading. I have a bachelor of arts degree in French and Irish from Maynooth University and a post masters degree from University College of Dublin. I have a passion for languages and have previously resided in France for six months. I am very flexible in regards to days and time and am very enthusiastic about students acquiring a second language. I have taught in 3 very different schools. I have worked in an all girls Catholic school followed by an all boys disadvantaged school. Currently I am based in a mixed school with various different students coming from different backrounds. I have taught every year up including A levels.

My approach to tutoring is that I tailor my tuition to the needs of the student. I will tutor in my own home or that of the student. I will vary my style depending on the ability and needs of the student. I aim to run my tuition in support of the progression of my students through their subject syllabus, but I am also willing to progress more slowly and focus on particularly weak areas if the student so desires. I will also offer pre-exam revision sessions for all exams. I will do one to one tutoring or group sessions whichever your prefer.
