About Joel
Throughout my academic career I have had times where I wasn’t understanding the topics due to the delivery of the content. I had to change the way I studied to rectify this and have now been very successful due to this.
I see students struggling not because they cannot understand the topic but because the way it’s being taught.
As I have been in a similar situation to many students I feel driven to help them achieve better marks and also teach them study techniques that will suit their learning style.

My approach to teaching is different to what a student’s experience in the classroom is.
As a student myself I understand the traditional approach to teaching does not suit every student.
If a student does not understand the topic we are covering I will not move on just to cover all the content as this is a waste of time for both of us.
My lessons always go over time as for me this isn’t a job as I genuinely enjoy helping students achieve their goals.
