About Lunarific
I grew up without ever getting a tutor, and now that I'm older, there are times when I realize I should've taken advantage of that opportunity while I could have. My goal is to help you/your student succeed in school, and be able to use goals that are important to know. I know that there is a negative bias against getting tutoring, but take it from a former student: when you need help, don't be afraid to ask for it. Take advantage of all the help you're given and can get.

I use a student-centered approach, tailoring lessons to each learner’s strengths, needs, and goals. I try to break down complex ideas into simple, understandable steps, then build back to the broader concept. I encourage participation through questions, discussions, and real-world examples. To reinforce understanding, I use a mix of explanations, practice problems, and reflective reviews where the student explains the concept back to me.
I focus not just on the subject, but on helping students develop confidence and problem-solving skills. I adapt quickly to different learning styles — whether a student needs visual aids, step-by-step logic, or real-life applications. My lessons emphasize understanding rather than memorization, so students gain skills they can use beyond the classroom. I also prioritize creating a positive, supportive environment where mistakes are seen as part of the learning process.
My lessons are for any age from Elementary School to Middle School.
