About Louis
Hi! My name's Louis, and I've lived in London all my life. I've always loved language, whether spoken or written, and this love was nurtured and allowed to develop only with the help of some exceptional teachers, who helped me turn the study of English from something dry and academic into something enjoyable, interesting, fun, and funny.
Now, I want to provide that same experience for any students wanting to learn - not only can it open the door to a whole range of brilliant fields, but that active enjoyment and passionate engagement is the engine which fuels all genuine academic achievement.
I offer lessons between 1 and 2 hours long, for students in primary school, students studying for 11+, GSCE, and A levels.
My teaching techniques are adapted based on what I feel each student would best respond to, whether this is going through past papers, in depth discussion of relevant topics, or more creative solutions based on specific difficulties a student may be having with the subject material. Homework may then be set appropriately.
My qualifications are all A and A* results at GCSE level, all A* at A level, and a First in English Literature from the university of Warwick.
