About Teleri
I have a PGCE in post compulsory education and I’ve taught as a tutor on Level 2 to 4 BTEC courses at a further education college for two years. During this time I tutored up to 60 students and developed lessons that fit their individual learning needs. I’ve organised and delivered sessions for primary school children, teenagers and adults within organisational and community settings.
I’ve created songs since a very young age and began to perform my songs with a guitar when I was a teenager. When I was 17 I attended a singer and songwriter course that helped me to hone my writing skills and to work with others on compositions. I’ve been a member of two acoustic bands, one in Norwich and one in North Wales, where we created and performed our own music in many venues.
During the past few years I’ve been learning to use the Digital Audio Workstation Ableton Live and last year I released 7 tracks that showed the gradual development of my sound. These tracks have been played on BBC Radio Cymru and Radio Wales and featured on other Welsh music platforms. I’m currently taking time to develop my music further and I’m looking forward to performing a DJ set of my tracks in the near future.
I have achieved Piano Grade 2 in theory and performance, Piano Grade 4 in leisure play and Flute Grade 3 theory and performance.
I have a current Enhanced DBS check.

I'm passionate about supporting you to find your own voice within the music that you create. I believe that the tools that we use should help rather than hinder our creative process and that trial and error are a key part of learning. I’m enthusiastic and flexible and I’ll take care to listen to your aspirations and to address the barriers that you encounter when learning new techniques.
During our first meeting we will discuss what you hope to learn and we’ll create a plan that will help you to achieve these aims. I will break down information into manageable sizes that can be adapted depending on your experience, understanding and learning style.
I’m able to help you start and finish your tracks using Ableton Live, including recording techniques, arrangement, general production and mixing. I can help with your composition, lyrics, singing and with honing your own sound and vision.
