About Holly
I am a musician and freelance composer with a breadth of knowledge in performance and music theory.
I have experience teaching students from the age of 5 to 20 years old. I currently teach piano, flute, singing and music GCSE.
I have an enhanced DBS certificate.
I have a 2:1 BA Hons degree in Music and Italian from Royal Holloway University of London and attained Grade 8 Flute and Voice from ABRSM.

My teaching method is very practical. I work with beginners to students at intermediate level.
We would start with the basics of learning to read basic musical notes (both flute and voice) and then learn the notes on the instrument (flute). If learning singing, then we would learn sight reading as you progress and breathing techniques.
I opt for a teaching style which is structured around learning the principles of music and tailoring my coaching style to the students.
