About Kathryn
Hi I'm Kat! I have been a musical theater director for 5 years as I started my own theater company in 2020 that provided safe spaces for high school theater students to explore their passions for theater. I have studied voice for almost 15 years and have performed in various musical theater productions including "Into the Woods" (Baker's Wife), "25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" (Olive), and "Shrek: The Musical" (Fiona) where I was nominated as a top 10 Actress in San Diego at the Broadway San Diego Awards (Jimmy Awards regional). I am a current student at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles studying theater arts and music and have been an active member of the San Diego musical theater community for over 6 years. I have a passion for unlocking your most authentic voice as that authenticity is what will get you cast and allow you to perform freely as yourself!

Unlock your most authentic voice through acting-focused musical theatre vocal training!
I believe that building a strong and healthy vocal technique comes from unlocking your speech-level singing voice and exploring the acting motivations behind your song.
We will work on developing a vocal technique that is right for you! Musical theatre encompasses so many different styles and techniques, but your most authentic voice is what is right for you.
We will explore many different genres, or work on whatever your next project or audition requires!
