As a music tutor, my aim is to help students develop their musical abilities and reach their full potential. I do this by targeting a specific topic of struggle, and require the student to take an assessment in order to gauge the particular areas in need of work. This gives me the needed information used to tailor a teaching plan unique to each individual.
A typical lesson may include:
- Music theory
- Listening practice
- Analysing set works
- Revising specific topics within current music syllabus e.g. Indian raga
- Giving feedback from a previously set homework assignment
- Applying this feedback to more examples
I offer 40-60 minute online lessons via Zoom with time flexibility, any day of the week. With expertise in GCSE and A level music, I am able to cover any topic.
