About Alejandra

My name is Alejandra, and I offer a flexible and personalized approach to violin lessons, adapted to each student’s age, level, and learning pace. I focus on building strong, universal violin foundations that apply to all musical styles.

I place strong emphasis on music theory and sheet music reading, teaching students how to read notes from the beginning, even with no prior musical experience. These skills are useful not only for violin, but for any instrument, helping students understand music more deeply.

With 14 years of experience, I am patient, adaptable, and focused on creating a supportive learning environment. My lessons are suitable for beginners and intermediate students of all ages and are offered in-home for comfort and convenience.

About the lesson

My name is Alejandra, and my teaching approach is flexible, clear, and adapted to each student’s needs and goals. I believe that learning the violin should be an accessible, understandable, and motivating process, regardless of the student’s age, level, or previous experience.
Teaching method and approach
I teach violin technique in a general and universal way, focusing on fundamental aspects such as posture, hand positions, bow use, intonation, rhythm, and coordination. These foundations are essential for playing the violin in any musical genre and are adapted to each student’s learning pace.
In addition to the instrument, I place strong emphasis on music theory and reading sheet music. I teach note reading from the very beginning, even to students who have never studied music before. This theoretical foundation is applicable not only to the violin, but to any musical instrument, helping students understand music rather than simply repeat it.
Typical lesson structure
Lessons follow an organized but flexible structure, which may include:
Technical development adapted to the student’s level
Progressive introduction to music theory and note reading
Direct application of theory to the instrument
Exercises or pieces suited to the student’s abilities
Clear guidance for independent practice
Each lesson is adjusted depending on whether the student is a complete beginner or has prior experience.
What sets me apart as a tutor
What sets me apart is my adaptability, patience, and experience. With 14 years of experience, I understand that every student learns differently. My goal is to explain concepts clearly, create a supportive learning environment, and guide students step by step in their progress.
Who the lessons are for
My lessons are suitable for:
Beginner and intermediate students
Children, teenagers, and adults
Students with no prior music knowledge
Individuals who want to learn violin and music reading in a progressive way

Lessons are offered in-home, providing a comfortable and familiar learning environment.
