About Kevin
As a committed and qualified music tutor, I take pride in maintaining a high level of professionalism with every student and family I work with. I have years of experience teaching both privately and in group settings, and I study at Western Connecticut State University as a Jazz Studies major, where I’ve made the Dean’s List and performed in advanced ensembles. My teaching is organized, goal-oriented, and tailored to each student’s needs, and I always ensure a respectful, supportive, and safe learning environment. You can trust that you or your child will receive reliable, high-quality instruction every step of the way. Although the ukulele is not my main instrument, I have 8 years of experience with it and plenty of knowledge to share!

Students would enjoy taking music theory and ukulele lessons with me because I make learning approachable, engaging, and rooted in real musical experience. With a background in jazz studies and years of performance in diverse ensembles—from steelpan and jazz orchestra to chamber percussion—I bring a broad, creative perspective to teaching. I help students connect music theory to songs they love and make the ukulele fun and accessible, whether they’re beginners or looking to deepen their understanding. My lessons are supportive, energetic, and designed to build confidence and curiosity in every student.
