About Alex
I have been taking guitar lessons for over 7 years and am now in the first year of a music performance HND at Riverside Music College. My favourite genres to play are rock and metal but enjoy playing a variety of music including blues and pop punk. I want to teach because I think the hardest part of learning guitar is getting started which can be made a lot easier with a good tutor, and I want to provide help and encouragement to people learning or improving their guitar skills.

My approach to teaching is friendly and patient. I've taken lessons myself and still do, so believe that an encouraging tutor is the best thing for a guitar student. I will tailor the lessons to your music taste, level, and learning style for you to get the most out of them. I have taken the instrumental instruction module in my course and passed well, as part of that I taught a fellow student how to play. The lessons can be between 30mins and an hour depending on your preference, and the lessons are for beginner and intermediate players of all ages.

Details
In addition to hour long lessons I can also do 30 min lessons which would be £10, or 45 min ones which would be £12. Online lessons are preferable to me but I can do in-person ones if a travelable distance.
