About Parth
Hi there! I’m a certified Trinity guitarist with a deep-rooted passion for music and teaching. By day, I work a corporate 9-to-5, but my true joy lies in the world of strings, melodies, and rhythm. I am launching my teaching journey to bring that exact joy, structure, and creative energy to the next generation of guitarists.
Because I balance a professional career alongside my musical pursuits, I bring an exceptional level of discipline, organization, and dedication to my classes. For me, teaching isn't just a side project—it’s the best part of my week, and that enthusiasm reflects in every single lesson.
Whether your child is picking up the guitar for the very first time, or you are looking for structured guidance to master classical fingerpicking, versatile acoustic rhythms, or high-energy electric riffs, I am here to guide the way.
My goal is to create a warm, encouraging environment where music is taught with professional legitimacy, but experienced as pure fun. Let’s turn those musical goals into reality together!

My Teaching Philosophy & Approach
1. Teaching Techniques & Methods
My goal is to build a strong foundational technique while keeping the instrument fun and engaging. Because I am a Trinity-trained guitarist, I blend structured, classical methodology with modern, practical application.
Depending on the student's interest, I focus on:
Classical: Developing proper posture, hand positioning, and beautiful fingerpicking techniques.
Electric/Acoustic: Building speed, accuracy, and confidence using flatpick (plectrum) techniques.
Core Musicianship: Teaching essential skills like rhythm, melodies, scales, and musicality, alongside reading musical notation so they can become independent musicians.
2. The Structure of a Class
I keep lessons organized yet dynamic to match a student's attention span:
The Warm-Up (5–10 mins): Fun finger exercises, scales, or rhythm games to get loose and focused.
The Core Lesson (25–30 mins): Introducing new concepts, reading notation, and working through technique exercises.
The Reward Segment (10–15 mins): Putting theory into practice by applying it to actual music.
3. Special Features & Engagement
To keep students inspired and excited to practice, I include a special milestone feature: Every few weeks, we will learn a song of the student's choice! Whether it's a favorite movie theme, a pop song, or a rock riff, tailoring a part of the curriculum to their personal taste ensures they stay deeply engaged and look forward to every class.
4. Target Audience
My classes are primarily intended for young youngsters and school-aged children (typically ages 7 and up). At this age, they have the hand size and focus required for the guitar, and I love adapting my energy to match theirs. However, motivated teenagers and adults looking to start their musical journey are always welcome!
