About Truce
Talofa Lava, Malo e lelei, my name is Truce Elu, I am a Music Production Bachelor's degree student, I am 3 years deep into my music artist journey in the NZ Music scene. In this time I have been blessed to work on my releases, score for a few short films and been able to work on music and be the audio engineer for a Polynesian cultural outreach program overseas. I come from a very musical-oriented family, like many Pacific Islanders, so if you're willing to take a chance on yourself like I did, don't hesitate to take your first step in the right direction. I will teach students how to navigate their way through Logic Pro X (preferred Digital Audio Workstation). As they become confident in using the program, I will teach them the core fundamentals of Music Production based on their level of understanding. A standard lesson would run from 30 mins - 1 hour. My lessons are aimed at NCEA students and upwards looking to make music production a career but don't know the basics & fundamentals. My expectation as a tutor is to help my students be able to tell their life stories through the journey of sound.
