About Sam
I'm a male vocalist that recently graduated from 'The Academy of Contemporary Music', Surrey, UK with a BA in Music Industry Performance (Vocals).
With a strong background writing, recording and performing in 'Rock/Metal' bands, Sam's vocals can be compared closely with that of Brendon Urie (Panic at the Disco), Dan Tompkins (Tesseract), Myles Kennedy (Alter Bridge/Slash).

My teaching methodology is based a lot on personal experience - Starting from a place of being a mediocre singer and learning through discipline and trial and error, I really understand at this point that "teaching CAN be taught!" and everyone needs different stimulus, reinforcement and support from an enthusiastic teacher.
Now, with a wealth of knowledge from studying the technique and the biology of the voice in action, I am well-equipped to unlock the potential in others - and have fun in the process!

Perfect! Very Knowledgeable, easy to work with and tailors the lessons to the specific needs and preferences of the student. Definitely worth the money

Main things to do for our next lesson on Friday:
Sing along to songs whilst holding back air (This should be reasonably quiet and relaxed)
-Sing along to songs with a dropped jaw (This should make you feel like there's a ball of space in the back of your throat)
SING! Sing along to everything and enjoy it – Don't pressure yourself to sound good all the time. Self-evaluating, intense practice should be balanced with a healthy portion of singing for fun and purely for fun – The things we learn in our sessions will slowly work their way into your subconscious whilst you sing freely.
