About Christopher
I am a passionate advocate for music education and believe in teaching everyone the skills to unlock their potential. I like to de-mystify notation and reading music and I use a number of methods to facilitate musical literacy.
I have experience teaching pupils of all ages from 4 to 74 and I take pride in my ability to connect with all my pupils individually.

I tailor my approach to the individual pupils' needs, whether that's preparing for exams, auditions or simply just for fun. As a singing teacher with other 20 years experience, I can help you find your voice and help with technique to help you get the best from your singing. My nurturing approach helps to put you at ease but also give you the tools and methods to improve.
I can help you prepare for ABRSM, Trinity/Guildhall examinations, GCSE/A-Level recitals and auditions. I am also experience with choral singers who wish to audition for solos or would like to me more confident on their vocal parts in the groups they sing with.
As a music teacher, I have prepared 100s of candidates for theory and performance exams and all my pupils have achieved merits or distinctions.
I hold a BMus (Hons) and Post-graduate Diploma in vocal performance, an MA in Music Education and LTCL in Vocal Teaching.
Lessons tend to be an hour long for most pupils 12 years +, for younger pupils this could be 30 or 45 mins.
