About Alina
Hello! My name is Alina! I'm a sophomore music composition and music technology major at Temple University. I've been studying many different aspects of music theory for about 5 years now, such as classical written and aural theory, jazz theory, orchestration, and composing. I also have a background in a few instruments, including piano and guitar. Other shorter studies include conducting, music history, and choral singing.

Lessons range from beginner (note names, key signatures, time signatures, scale types, chord types, ect) to intermediate/advanced (secondary dominants, modal / chromatic theory, roman numeral analysis, aural theory, ect). Lessons could include review of specific questions from classes to lessons on new material of interest.
Teaching methods and techniques can range depending on the student's preference (also depending on written v. aural theory). Typically, guided instruction, lectures, or direct discussion are the most conducive.
