About Praba
Hi! I’m Praba, a dedicated and experienced tutor with a passion for helping students excel in the Sciences and Maths. I hold a BSc in Biomedical Sciences and an MSc in Infection and Immunity, and I’ve spent over four years tutoring students from GCSE to A-Level. Currently, I work with Year 7–11 students in a local school, where I support them in mastering challenging material and reaching their academic goals.
I genuinely love teaching because I believe in the power of education to open doors and build confidence. Science, in particular, has always fascinated me, and I want to help students see its real-world impact and potential. My goal is to create a learning environment that’s both supportive and inspiring, where students feel comfortable asking questions, exploring ideas, and building a deep understanding. I’m here to make science accessible, enjoyable, and ultimately, something they feel confident about.

I provide high-level, interactive lessons tailored to each student’s level and goals. My teaching style is engaging, with a focus on building critical thinking through real-world examples and problem-solving exercises. Frequent quizzes and practical exercises help reinforce learning, ensuring students understand concepts thoroughly.
Each session lasts about 60 minutes, offering a focused yet comprehensive exploration of topics. For younger students or intensive study needs, lessons can be adjusted to 45 or 90 minutes for maximum effectiveness.
With a solid background in Sciences (BSc Biomedical Sciences & MSc in Infection and Immunity) and over 4 years of tutoring experience, I have successfully guided students across various age groups (GCSE to A-Levels). My current training/working at a local school. supporting year 7 - 11 (GCSE) further equips me to support students in achieving their academic goals.
I work with students of all levels, typically from year 9 to Year 13 (GCSE to AS/A-Levels), whether they’re aiming to improve grades, prepare for exams, or deepen subject knowledge. Lessons are tailored to each student’s needs and learning style, ensuring a personalised, goal-driven experience.
