About Sona
I am a passionate Physics tutor with over 4 years of teaching experience and an MSc in Astrophysics. Physics, for me, is not just a subject but a story of curiosity and discovery. I love exploring the history of physics and the groundbreaking experiments that changed how we see the universe.
I guide students through Galileo’s bold experiments on motion and falling bodies. We carefully study Newton’s laws and understand how they shaped classical mechanics. I also introduce Maxwell’s equations and explain how they unified electricity and magnetism in a powerful way. The quantum revolution and its surprising discoveries are another journey we explore together.
In my sessions, I focus on helping students appreciate the scientific method and the courage it takes to challenge accepted ideas. I encourage questions, critical thinking, and deep conceptual understanding. My goal is not only to prepare students for exams but to help them see the beauty of physical laws. Together, we will travel through the pivotal moments in physics history and discover how great ideas transformed the world.

My teaching approach in Physics focuses on building strong conceptual understanding before moving to complex problems. I believe students learn best when they clearly understand the “why” behind every formula. I teach core topics such as Newtonian mechanics, forces and motion, laws of motion, work, energy conservation, and momentum. I also cover rotational motion, gravitation, waves, thermodynamics, and basic electromagnetism.
My methodology centres on active learning and hands-on examples. I use real-life situations to explain abstract concepts so students can connect theory with daily life. Problem-solving sessions are an important part of my classes. We practise step-by-step solutions using fundamental physical laws and logical reasoning.
I guide learners to think like physicists, not just memorise equations. Special attention is given to students who are reshaping their academic or career path, helping them rebuild confidence and clarity in core concepts. I provide structured support for exam preparation, assignments, and numerical practice. Every session is interactive and focused on strengthening analytical thinking. You will understand how the world works through clear explanations and practical application.
