I have 6 years of tutoring experience, offering a wide range of learning styles, catered to individual students. In my experience, students get the most out of their time when they feel comfortable to ask questions, and to explore what they are having trouble with and what their learning goals are.
I have flexible lesson plans that can best fit the student's needs. If the student has pre-prepared questions then we can work on those. Alternatively, I can provide a lecture style lesson on a general topic. Regardless, I encourage the student to ask as many questions as possible and to really focus in on what they are struggling with. I also like to provide a summary document which highlights what we learned and what we should continue to work on.
I can tutor junior high students in all science and math topics. I can tutor all high school science and math topics except biology. I can tutor college level physics up to 3rd year level, calculus up to and including calculus 3. I can teach advanced astronomy and astrophysics at the 4th year level.
