About Alexander

I'm Alexander, and ever since I was a child, I've been captivated by the magic of film and the magic of books. My passion for storytelling first took form when I won an international "young writers" competition at the age of twelve, in which I then became published.

My journey then led me to New York City, where I pursued and earned my degree in film in 2013, thanks to a generous scholarship.

After University, my pursuit of cinematic storytelling then took me to Los Angeles, where I began my professional journey.

My narrative directorial debut came with a movie I penned, titled "What Remains Of Us," starring XXXX (they'll kill me if I say). It's a psychological horror, being distributed theatrically by Universal Studios later this year.

I've also written for Amazon Studios - "How To Date Billy Walsh" which is set for its worldwide release later this year.

In the television space, I currently have three series all in different stages of development, being developed by leading production companies and broadcasters.

I am fortunate enough to be represented by RSA (Ridley Scott's company) commercially, the United Talent Agency theatrically, and United Agents in London.

But most importantly, why is it I want to teach? I believe that every individual, carries a universe within them, a universe brimming with stories waiting to be told. As a child, I discovered the enchanting power of storytelling, and that magic has guided my journey, leading me to places and experiences I could never have imagined. It's the reason I've dedicated my life to the art of film and writing - and I owe it all to my English teacher, Ms Vasey, if it wasn't for her, I would NEVER have fallen in love with telling stories like I have, so it is that moment, that feeling, that I want to give back.

Today, after years of exploring the diverse landscapes of storytelling, from crafting psychological horror and romantic comedies to shining a light on societal injustices, I find myself at a new juncture. Now, I want to pass on what I've learned, what I've lived. But why? It's not just about sharing knowledge or skills, it's something far deeper than that.

I believe stories have the power to touch hearts, to change minds, to unite us, and even to heal. They are our link to the past and our bridge to the future. And this power, this magic, shouldn't be confined to a select few - it should be shared, embraced, and nurtured by all. That's where my desire to teach stems from.

I want to give others the tools to harness this power, to empower you to bring your stories to life. I want to help you uncover your voice, develop your ideas, and paint your worlds with words. I believe every person has a story inside them that deserves to be told, a perspective that can enlighten, a voice that can inspire.

I want to teach because I see potential in every untold story, and I know the exhilaration of seeing an idea take shape and come alive. My goal is to guide, inspire, and cultivate a love for storytelling in you. I want to see you succeed, to watch you grow as a writer and as a creator. And together, I believe we can create not just compelling narratives, but also a more understanding and empathetic world.

My journey in storytelling continues, and I invite you to be a part of it. Let's unlock the magic of your story together.
