About Helen
I am a vibrant woman in my 40's who has devoted her life to raising her own children as well as assisting others. I recently completed the TEFL which allows me to teach English to foreign learners. I thoroughly enjoyed working as an assistant teacher to 20 Grade 1 children at Broadacres Academy and have helped numerous children in a remediating position.

My teaching methodology is definitely Constructivism as I have first-hand experience of how children learn best through play and NOT "' talk and chalk". I base my lessons around a particular topic and teach that topic in a holistic manner, basing all lessons, be it English, Maths or Life Skills around that topic. We learn in a fun, interactive manner using an assortment of aids and teaching materials.
