About Evy
I’m a passionate and dedicated educator based in Montreal, with a strong background in English and French. As someone who personally experienced the challenges of learning a second language, I bring deep empathy and understanding to my teaching. My journey learning French taught me the importance of confidence, encouragement, and tailored support—values I now bring to every student I work with. I specialize in creating a safe, engaging environment where learners feel empowered to take risks, grow, and succeed. With roots in both education and cultural diversity, I connect easily with students from all backgrounds. I’m committed to helping learners not only improve their language skills but also build the self-assurance they need to thrive in and beyond the classroom. Outside of teaching, I’m an avid traveler who loves making meaningful connections with people from around the world. These experiences continually shape my global mindset and inclusive teaching approach. I bring energy, empathy, and a learner-centered philosophy to every classroom. My goal is simple: to help students feel confident, capable, and ready to use their voice in English.

I hold a degree from Concordia University and have been teaching English as a second language for the past two years. As someone who personally understands the challenges of learning a new language, I’m deeply committed to helping others feel confident and supported on their journey.
