About Anna
Hi Everyone,
I'm Anna, a Monash university student looking to start my double degree in biomedicine and commerce. I graduated from Suzanne Cory High School with a 99.2, studying Specialist Mathematics, Methods (raw 40), English (raw 45) , Chemistry (raw 41), Latin (scaled 50) in 2022 and Biology (raw 44). Having tutored many students as part of a non-profit organisation and for academies, I love connecting with unique individuals and finding the strategy that works for them.
My lessons will not consist of piles of homework, difficult tests at the start of each lesson and a hectic pace. I firmly believe that concepts cannot be crammed, so each lesson will be tailored to suit a student's learning style; and no question can ever be stupid (:
As a Year 12 student, been there done that. So I have many strategies to study smart not hard, manage stress and can offer an empathetic viewpoint as someone who can understand the pain of VCE. I understand that certain subjects can feel intimidating, but as a tutor I'm here to help you both in and out of class and will promptly respond to all questions.

Have tutored multiple students from the ages of grade 3-8 as part of EqualEd, a non-for-profit organisation offering educational support to disadvantaged students. Typical lessons length would be 60 minutes: consist of sections for conceptual explanation (audio-visual, musical, dramatic) , practice questions and worked examples followed by set homework and tailor-made resources given.
Lessons would range from $40-50 an hour, depending on whether it is VCE or prep-8, and the first trial lesson would be given free to see if the tutor and student are a right fit. I offer tutoring for
