About Spencer
I am an experienced Guitar tutor with over 7 years of teaching experience, helping students from different age groups and backgrounds discover the joy of music. I teach school students, college students, and working professionals who want to learn guitar for personal enjoyment, skill development, or creative expression. Teaching music is something I truly enjoy, and I take pride in guiding students toward their goals with patience and encouragement.
My lessons are designed for beginners and intermediate learners. I teach guitar fundamentals, chord formations, rhythm techniques, strumming patterns, scales, finger exercises, fingerstyle methods, ear training, and basic music theory. I also include song-based learning so students can apply their knowledge in a practical and enjoyable way.
My teaching philosophy is based on patience, communication, and continuous support. I understand that every student learns differently, so I create personalized lessons according to individual needs and learning styles. I focus on creating a positive environment where students feel comfortable and motivated to learn.
One of my strengths is making difficult concepts simple and easy to understand. I encourage regular practice and provide constructive feedback to help students improve steadily. My goal is to help students develop confidence, discipline, and a genuine love for music.
I believe learning guitar should be an enjoyable experience, and I am committed to helping students build skills that will benefit them throughout their lives.

My teaching approach focuses on communication, creativity, and flexibility to create a comfortable and productive learning environment. I believe that every student has the potential to succeed with the right guidance and motivation.
In Guitar classes, I start with the fundamentals, including rhythm exercises, chord transitions, finger coordination, and strumming techniques. As students improve, they learn scales, fingerstyle playing, improvisation, and music theory concepts. Lessons are structured to ensure steady progress while keeping learning enjoyable.
Communication allows me to provide personalized instruction and constructive feedback. Creativity helps me design engaging activities that encourage learning and exploration. Flexibility enables me to adjust lessons according to individual goals and learning styles.
Apart from Guitar, I can also teach music theory, ear training, rhythm practice, and performance skills. My goal is to help students become confident learners and passionate musicians.
