About Alexia
I’m an MIT student with a strong background in maths, science, and test preparation. I completed calculus and multivariable calculus, studied IB Chemistry at Higher Level, and scored a 35 composite on the ACT. I enjoy tutoring because I know how much confidence can change a student’s experience with a subject. My goal is to make difficult topics feel manageable, explain concepts clearly, and help students build both understanding and independence.

I offer online tutoring in maths, chemistry, and ACT preparation for school and college students. My lessons are clear, patient, and problem-focused: I explain the concept first, then work through examples step by step, and gradually let the student try questions independently. I’m an MIT student with a strong academic background in calculus, multivariable calculus, IB Chemistry HL, and ACT preparation, including a 35 ACT composite. Lessons are usually 60 minutes and can be adapted for homework help, exam preparation, confidence building, or filling knowledge gaps.
