About Nathan
I earned my Master of Science degree in Mathematics in 2014, and have spent most of the years since then either teaching in the classroom or tutoring, or both. I have also worked for a textbook publisher in quality control, making sure that learning materials are clear and helpful. I aim to answer questions precisely, as it is important in mathematics to say what we mean and to mean what we say.

Perhaps the most important question in math or science is "why?". I do not encourage memorization, I believe that true mastery comes with such questions.
I also believe that mistakes are how we learn. It is natural to struggle with new concepts - learning new symbols and definitions for words we know outside of math (solution, set, and function, for example) can be intimidating, and I'm here to help you with that.
