About Alex
I'm working remotely and I mostly would like to tutor in order to help out students with difficulties. STEM topics are interesting and although may be tricky, I think one of the best feelings a student can have is when they figure out the answer to a hard question. I have been tutoring since I was in third grade, sometimes pro-bono, sometimes for money. I was a teaching assistant in a mathematical modeling course in my undergraduate course and always would look to share what I know, if possible.

I like to use examples and analogies. I find it easier for someone to retain the information this way. I usually do some theory, then i focus on casr studies and particularlities of a topic, before going into a short discussion on the topic for the last part of the session. In case of need, I also have a few questions at the beginning of the session to see if the student needs more time on the subject, or I can move forward with the lessons.
