At Laurier, I have worked at the Math Assistance Centre (focus on first year Calculus) and the Accessible Learning Centre (tutored students with learning disabilities) for the past two years.

For all of my lessons, I tutor online using an interactive software called Bitpaper, where both the student and I can access a 'virtual whiteboard' where we can write problems and solutions.
For high school math, I find it most effective to go through the homework problems that you were assigned by your teacher. As I do not have access to the lessons you are taught in class, simply going through the practice problems and explaining how to solve them step by step will ensure that my lessons are relevant to what you will be tested on.
For first year University Calculus , we will go through your assigned homework problems, but I will also provide you with my own review of course content and my own set of problems that I used when tutoring at the Laurier Math Assistance Centre. These problems were handpicked from the Calculus 1 textbook.
