About Madeline
I've taught and tutored Latin from beginner level in middle school all the way to college-level Latin. I know that Latin can feel daunting and overwhelming at times, so I like to simplify the grammar, use vocabulary games, and practice study techniques for language learning.

My lessons are for anyone from beginner middle school to college level. I like to start by learning my student's learning style so we can talk about study techniques. Then, I like to take a student through a Latin passage or through some exercise sentences to see where they're at in terms of grammar and vocabulary. After that, I reteach any grammar that the student doesn't understand. I like to have them pretend they're the teacher, as well, and explain grammar concepts to me. I make vocabulary study games for the student based on their learning style, and drill vocab and grammar charts with the student so that they get that repetition that is so important in language learning.
