About Rene
I was a high school tutor for most of high school, and in my final year, I was hired by my own high school to work for their afterschool high school math tutoring program, which was where I remained for the rest of the year. I am now pursuing a degree in Math education at the University of Washington.

I approach topics at a very gradual pace. For something like solving linear equation systems, I would ensure they know about single variable substitution. Then, I would transition into substituting entire expressions, before finally building up towards things like elimination. It's about a slow, gradual transition, and making sure they understand their building blocks before progressing.
