About Rachel
I love to learn and to help others learn. My favorite part of being a teacher is seeing that "aha" moment when a student understands the material. I also love connecting with students and talking all things football, Disney, and Taylor Swift. Play a sport? Tell me all about it! I love learning new things from my students about their interests as we're working on the math.

I like to use an "I do, we do, you do" approach. This means I explain a concept and/or demonstrate solving a problem. Then we'll solve one or two together! We end the lesson with YOU working on the questions. I'm right there to answer questions and help if you're stuck, but the goal is for you to do it on your own.
I can differentiate my tone and approach to meet each student where they're at. Math isn't going anywhere, there is no race to learn the material. We will go at a pace that works for you and won't move forward until you feel confident.
I can tutor elementary, middle, and high school students. I can also work with college students on algebra, geometry, and calculus.
