About Natasha
I am a first year student who has managed to attain Class I grade in the first year of university.
Over the past few months I have been giving lessons privately to children between the ages of 8 -10 and I have taught all 4 students Mathematics at their appropriate level.
One client that I tutored was receiving support from me to complete a set of entrance exams for an independent school for year 5 entry. She was able to attain very high scores in all her tests especially in Mathematics and has now been offered a place at the school from September.
I have gained experience working with children over the last couple years as I have completed various work experience placements at primary schools located in London and Loughborough. At theses schools I had an opportunity to teach small groups of children from different year groups using a range of interactive activities. This opportunity enabled me to gain a greater insight into a variety of learning styles that are effective and enjoyable for young students.
Ultimately I want the experience of online tutoring to be enjoyable and gratifying for all my students so I try to incorporate as many interesting activities as possible!

My name is Natasha and I am a diligent student who studies Microbiology at the University of Nottingham. Due to the scientific nature of my course I am constantly using maths during exams or coursework projects. I have always enjoyed working with children so becoming a private tutor has allowed me to do this on a daily basis !
The students to whom I give lessons to are those in primary school , year 7 and 8. The way I go about teaching students is following a lesson plan that has been prepared in advance and is tailored for the student's particular needs.
My main aims when teaching lessons is to:
- Recap over essential material
- Make students feel confident to ask questions about any difficulties they are having with concepts being taught.
- Improve the student's overall performance and competence in Mathematics and Science.
