About Chase
I did my first show in middle school (yay Seussical) and I've been in love with it since then. I participated in a statewide recognized program in high school (we were passed to state level competitions every year) and continued my education with a BA in Theater from Lenoir-Rhyne University. Instead of a gap year, I jumped into a grad program that focused on the scholarship of Shakespeare/Early Modern theater and earned my MLitt, followed by a one-year MFA program in which I focused primarily as a director.

I am both a director and actor who has worked professionally with Shakespeare, Early Modern theatre, and contemporary productions. I like to work with students to figure out what they want to gain from a particular piece, what might not be clicking with them in what they're doing, and unlocking the joys in the spirit of "play," even when an audition seems big and scary.
